Bestival 2017

By admin In Carbon Copy, Music

Well, what an adventure this promises to be… Bestival has a beautiful new home with a massive castle in the middle of it, acres of beautiful woodland and forest, a sea view and the dramatic Jurassic coastline. The festival is going back to their roots with Josie da Bank’s hand-drawn artwork, reviving all our favourite stages from 14 years of Bestival history and going out with all their headliners for the first time ever together. From pop to grime, hip-hop to techno, folk to classical and every style in between Bestival are reclaiming their place as the fun-est, most adventurous, musically savvy and downright magical festival on the map at the Lulworth Estate, Dorset this 7th – 10th September.

The brand-new mainstage, the Castle Stage will play host to headliners The xx, A Tribe Called Quest and The Pet Shop Boys, with even more eclectic music from Justice, Dizzee Rascal, Little Dragon, Rag’n’Bone Man, Wiley, Laura Mvula, Danny Brown, Loyle Carner, Soul II Soul, Circa Waves, MNEK, Ray BLK, Johnny Flynn & The Sussex Wit, Stefflon Don, The Cuban Brothers, Nadia Rose, House Gospel Choir, Purple Rave Orchestra, Bestival Brass Band and the Weymouth Ukuleleans. The second stage The Box will see performances from fourth headliner Jamie T, plus DJ Shadow, Blossoms, Kurupt FM and Lucy Rose.

The new rave stage Temple promises to be intense hosting Temple, Annie Mac, Andy C Presents 25 years of RAM: Andy C, Calyx & Teebee, Culture Shock and Heidi. Don’t forget to expect outrageous behaviour with the return of HMS Bestival and Sink the Pink, the garage pool party featuring DJ Luck & MC Neat, Heartless Crew and Oxide & Neutrino, plus Buttmitzvah, and Hard Cock Life.

Not forgetting Bestival’s world renowned side shows and off-the-wall behaviour including Caravanserai, Club Dada, Ambient Forest, Oberon’s Observatory, The World’s Biggest Confetti Canon, Castle Fireworks Finale, Love-Bot, Bestival Inflatable Church, The Feast Collective, Slow Motion, Revolution Rides, Carnival, Sugar Skulls Cocktail Bus, Lost in the Woods, Ancient Woodlands, Free Haircuts, Campsite Recycling Hubs, Kids Field, Flags by Angus Watt and more!
