Allana Verde is a 22 year old RnB artist from London, who spent her childhood travelling between the UK and Jersey City in the states. Her musical talent developed from passion for performing arts, in particular dancing from a very young age in the prestigious Sylvia Young Performing Arts School. After performing all over London throughout her childhood most of her fondest memories relate to her love for music and performing arts…

Her diverse experience of performing is clearly shown through her incredibly emotive singing voice and her debut track ‘Shades’ released last September, showcased her raw talent perfectly. Her sensual voice floats above an addictive bumping 808 bassline and catchy hip hop beat with poise and confidence. The track quickly grabbed the attention of legendary R&B DJ Trevor Nelson on Radio 1 and was added to the BBC Radio 1Xtra playlist via the BBC Introducing scheme, which seems to be the breeding ground of future talent in recent years. Allana has a real passion for 90s R&B and her debut Neo-Nostalgia EP is testament to this. A daring variety of 80s and 90s classics reworked in a modern and unique fashion. In April of this year Allana teamed up with legendary UK producer DaVinChe, the result of their partnership was ‘Warning’, a brilliant play on the classic Notorious B.I.G track of the same name. The rework is a hybrid of hip-hop and R&B, and changes the dark message of the original and spins into a playful message about interfering ‘bitches’ and loyalty to her man.
