The brilliant 4 piece band Wild Beasts from Kendal have announced their fifth album called ‘Boy King’, scheduled for release on the 5th of August this year. The band said “After five records there had to be an element of what the fuck?”, and the first single off the album called ‘Get My Bang’ shows this not giving an eff attitude in action.
The track is far more poppy and dry than the normal falsetto vocals and wet guitars they are known for, however the change in direction in style still manages to encompass the soul of the band. Quirky guitar parts, thumping bass lines and clever little hi-hat fills. Check out the cracking new video for the track below, and watch this space for news on the album…
